Jennifer Lee Barker

Jennifer Lee Barker, age 40, of Gastonia went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas. Jennifer was born in West Palm Beach, FL. on August 13, 1976 to the late Lee Conia and Frances Horner Conia. She was an active member of Bethlehem Church in Gastonia and was a Civil Engineer with the City of Charlotte. She loved Bible study, cooking, the beach and especially her children, Joshua and Caleb. Jennifer was loved by all who knew her and will sadly be missed. Survivors include her loving husband of 14 years, Matthew J. “Matt” Barker; her sons, Joshua Ray Barker and Caleb Matthew Barker; Sisters, Teressa Ballard and husband Jeff of Mill Springs, NC., Pat Park and husband David of Mebane, NC and Brother, Jeff Fornabi of Green Springs, FL. The family wants to express special thanks to the staff at both the Levine Cancer Center and the Robin Johnson Hospice House for their compassionate and loving care. A Celebration of Life Service for Jennifer will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, March 16 at Bethlehem Church South Campus with Pastor Dickie Spargo officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment services will be held privately.
