In a world where grace and intelligence intertwined, Jeane Ray Robinson Ogborn left an indelible mark. Born on January 31, 1936, in Guilford County, NC, she was a luminary known for her impeccable style and vast knowledge on a myriad of subjects. Her sharp wit and infectious sense of humor brightened the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Jeane embraced life's simple pleasures, finding joy in watching her favorite TV shows like "Ancient Aliens" and "Skinwalker Ranch." She was an avid reader, finding solace in the pages of books. The mountains and the beach held a special place in her heart, offering serenity amidst nature's beauty. A true wordsmith, Jeane found delight in playing Scrabble and solving crossword puzzles, showcasing her sharp intellect and love for linguistic challenges.

Among her proudest accomplishments was her beloved family. She cherished every moment spent with them, nurturing deep bonds that would withstand the test of time. Jeane's presence brought warmth and comfort to her family circle, creating memories that will be treasured for generations to come.

Jeane peacefully departed from this world on May 9, 2024, at her residence, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Ray Robinson and Zena Lee McCuller; her husband, Owen Otis Ogborn II; and her son, Preston Ogborn. She is also reunited with her sister Patricia Bessent.

Jeane is survived by her daughters Jeannette Runyan (Noel) and Elizabeth "Beth" McCray; sisters Sherry McCuller (James), Michelle Shuman (Mike), Mary Ellen Robinson; granddaughter Jessica Runyan; grandson Parker Runyan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

In honoring Jeane’s memory, let us celebrate a life well-lived—a life dedicated to love, laughter, and the enduring bonds of family. May she rest in eternal peace knowing she was loved beyond measure.
