Guestbook

I have so many memories of Jason from the time he was a little boy... one of my favorites is when he just turned 16 and wanted to drive my firebird car. He loved to drive it by himself so he could speed I'm sure, down towards the end of main Street in Marshville NC. He would drive it back and forth over the hills and curves. Didn't want Heather to ride, because he was just just beginning to be the tough man he turned out to be. He didn't mind being a loner, he had fun whether he was alone or with his specially chosen friends! If you were liked by him, you passed his own test. He was a people watcher, and chose his friends carefully. I was honored to be his friend, even though I was more one of his parents friends,he always came in from whatever he was doing to greet me with a shy hug and a grin. He was a protective little man to me from Russ's snakes, the mice that was the food for them, the bad mean dogs that protected their family, the fish I was afraid to touch when we went to the Sebastian Inlet... what a great heart full of love, tenderness and forgiveness he had towards those he loved! His zest for living, fun and gentle love should be something we all can remember when we think back upon his life. Live, laugh and love!
