James "Jimmy" Franklin Rose

James F. “Jimmy” Rose, 51, of Mt. Holly passed away March 4, 2017 at CMC Main in Charlotte. Mr. Rose was born September 11, 1965 in Welch, WV to the late Harrison Robert Rose and Dorothy Louise Burchett Rose. He was also preceded in death by his brother William “Tiny” Ward. Jimmy was a lover of the outdoors, love fishing and enjoyed Go Carts. Survivors include stepchildren Reba Walker and Anthony Stewart. Brother and Sisters, Susan Watts, Alice Beckner, Harrison “Buddy” Rose Jr. and Annie Rose. 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend Special Thanks to Laura and David Peche for their compassion, inspiration and influence on Jimmy’s life. Memorial Services to Celebrate Jimmy's life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday March 11 at Way of the Cross Church, 1805 Mt. View Rd., Bessemer City, NC 28016 with Pastor Jason Walker and Pastor Larry Lingerfelt officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. Inurnment will be private.
