Jack Johnson, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, was born on January 24, 1941, in Dillon, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Amanda Johnson and passed away on October 8, 2025, at Caromont Regional Medical Center. Jack's life was marked by dedication and love, particularly towards his family, which he held dear throughout his life.
For 25 years, Jack served as the vice president of Letter Perfect Printing Company. He was known not only for his professional skills but also for his warm and engaging demeanor that reflected the profound impact he made within his professional environment.
In addition to his career, Jack was a man of many passions. He was an enthusiastic golfer at heart and he also found joy in supporting his favorite team, the Clemson Tigers. His interests brought him happiness and served as a means to connect with friends and family alike.
Jack's family was his pride and joy. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Sherrie Johnson; his daughters, Christie Brigman and her husband Cam Brigman; Mandy Diffendorf and her husband Don Diffendorf; and his son, Chuck Johnson. Jack's legacy continues through his grandchildren, Tylar Brigman, Jackson Diffendorf, Kennedy Diffendorf, and Madison Diffendorf, who will undoubtedly carry forward his light and spirit.
He is also survived by his brother, Charlie Johnson, who shared many cherished moments with him, as well as special friends Shawn and Lynn Smith, who were an important part of his life. Jack's dog, Jobi, was his loyal companion, providing him with unwavering affection and companionship.
In addition to his mother, Jack was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Johnson, and granddaughter, McKinley Diffendorf. Their memories will forever hold a place in the hearts of those who loved them.
Jack Johnson's life was a testament to love, dedication, and community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
