Henry "Chucky" Lee Booth IV

Henry Lee “Chucky” Booth IV, 36, passed away on June 24th, 2022 at home, surrounded by his family. He was a native of the Carolinas, born in Gaston County on May 12th, 1986. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ronald William Rowland and Frankie Williams Carringer; his paternal grandparents, Henry Lee “Bud” Booth, Jr. and Carolyn Holland Booth;
and his uncle, James Edward “Eddie” Gibbs.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Madalyn Booth and her mother, Brooke Booth; his mother and stepfather, Pamela Davis and
Mitch Davis; his father, Henry Lee “Chuck” Booth III; his siblings, Christina Allen (Brian), Melissa Glover (Nathan), Gregory Booth (Ashley); nieces and nephews, Kirsten Elliott (Justin), Christopher Beukema (Payton), Sean Frisbee, Ivy Glover, Price Glover, Dalton, Elijah and Finnley Booth; great-nephew, Mason Elliott; great-niece, Sterling Elliott; aunts and uncles, Michael Rowland (Karen), Joyce Presley (Larry), and Kay Gibbs; friends turned family; Lynn and Lili Coleman, Chris Poarch and Sean Moore; and several cousins, Jason
Wilson, Kim Witcher (Rick), Ethan Gibbs, Austin Gibbs, and Sarah Rowland.

Chucky was a loving and devoted father, son, brother, uncle, grandson and friend. He never met a stranger, greeting everyone with the kindest smile and a hug even if he’d just met them. He had a way of touching the lives of everyone around him, making them feel welcome no matter the time and place and would be there to help you with anything, anytime you asked. Chucky loved taking Madalyn to visit with his friends and family as often as he could and usually offered to bring food to cook up his own creations. He stayed busy, doing many things from fishing, camping and horseback riding to attending concerts and setting off a display of fireworks for everyone to see. He was also a jack of all trades, enjoying woodworking and painting, much like his grandfathers. We will all forever cherish the memories we have of Chucky and will definitely look forward to him greeting us with that friendly and comforting smile in Heaven one day.

A Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, July 2nd, 2022 at Love Memorial Baptist Church, 311 E. Walnut Ave. Gastonia, NC 28054. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. -3:00 p.m. with the service beginning at 3:00 pm.

I only knew Chuck the last few years but he was an amazing friend, he use to come over and we would start up a movie and never make it to the end up talk the whole time for hours and hours on end. He had such as ease to him and was so easy to talk to. He will truly be missed by many
