With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald Scott Hope, who departed this life on June 27, 2026, at the age of 66.
Gerald was born on September 29, 1959, to Harry Hope and Margie Hope. Throughout his life, he was known for his caring heart, quiet strength, and deep love for his family. He found his greatest joy in the people he loved, and the memories he created with them will be treasured forever.
He was the devoted husband of Nancy Ann Hope, with whom he shared a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering commitment.
Gerald was a proud and loving father to Ashley Williams, Kelly Grindstaff, Kim Snyder, Jessica Owens, and Travis Webb. His greatest pride was watching his family grow and celebrating each milestone alongside them.
He was a cherished grandfather to McKenzie Grindstaff, Austin Webb, Kaleb Owens, Laura Owens, Cody Strange, Novian Williams, Jada Alston, and Jordan Alston, and was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immeasurable joy to his life.
Gerald is also survived by his beloved sibling, Gary Steven Hope, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever remember his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.
Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that Gerald’s legacy lives on in the family he loved so deeply and in the countless lives he touched. His gentle spirit, warm smile, and steadfast presence will be missed beyond measure but remembered always.
May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by God’s love, until the day his family is reunited with him once again.
