Franklin Joseph Schmidt Young

Franklin Joseph Schmidt-Young, born on September 19, 2024, passed away in the arms of his heartbroken mother, Isabella Schmidt, on September 21, 2024. Though his time with us was brief, his presence has left an indelible mark on the hearts of his family and all who joyfully anticipated his arrival. 

Baby Franklin is survived by his loving family, including parents Isabella Schmidt and Drizzt Young, maternal grandparents Pamela and Joseph Schmidt, paternal grandparents Sophia and Joseph Young, uncles Joseph Schmidt, Kristopher-Jordan Schmidt, Drake Young, maternal great grandmother Elena Fernandez, paternal great grandparents Bernadette Flores and James McCall, godmother Jackie Mills, and numerous others who will forever carry the weight of his loss in their hearts 

He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather Frank Fernandez, who surely welcomed him to heaven with open arms. 

As we reflect on the precious days we shared with Franklin, we find comfort in the words of a cherished song: "Love of mine, someday you will die, but I'll be close behind; I'll follow you into the dark." This sentiment reassures us that our love for Franklin is eternal, unwavering on Earth until we are reunited in heaven above.
