Frances Helene White

Frances  Helene White, 88, of Monroe passed away February 6, 2016 at Union County Hospice House in Monroe. Mrs. White was born in St. Louis, Mo. On September 6, 1927 to the late Anthony and Helene Cervenka. She was also preceded in death by a son, Steve White. Mrs. White was a longtime member of Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church and was co-founder of Textrol, Inc. along with her husband.

Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, E.F. “Gene” White II. Children, Jean Ditenhafer (Bill), Mike White (Barbara), Jenny Wallace (Barney), Eugene White III (Nadia), and Helene Thomason (William). Sister, Aline Kazokas.  18 Grandchildren 12 Great Grandchildren.

A Celebration of life service for Mrs. White will be held at 2:30 Wednesday, February 10 at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, 8600 Potters Rd. in Weddington with Pastors Ed Thomas and Nate Wolcott officiating. Visitation to follow the service, also at the church. Inurnment will be held privately.
