Forrest "Roger" Mote Jr.

Forrest "Roger" Mote Jr., 41, of Dallas passed away August 1, 2020 at his residence.  He was born on April 2, 1979 to the late Forrest Roger Mote Sr. and Rebecca Sue Haynie Mote.  Roger enjoyed fishing, racing, and cars; especially drag car racing at Shadyside Dragway.

Roger is survived by his sisters, Wanda Lavender and husband Scott and Sharon Brendle and husband Rob; nieces and nephews, Shad Lavender and wife Danielle, Jessica Hamby and husband Chris, Brittnay Hamby and husband Matt, and Reece Brendle; and dear friends, John and Joseph Lay.

A visitation will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mt. Holly.
