Edgar "Fatt Catt" Green

Edgar “Fatt Catt” Green, 49, of Gaffney, SC passed away on Nov. 28, 2016 at the Wendover Hospice House in Shelby, NC. Mr. Green was born in Gaffney, SC on May 10, 1967 to the late William Rufus Green and Estelle Wyatt Green. He is also preceded in death by his sister Debra Green. “Fatt Catt” was a mechanic and loved vintage cars, especially Mopar. Enjoyed the mountains and loved his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife Aretta “Cissy” Green. Children Samantha “Red” Green (Chris), Dalton “PeeDee” Green  (Lauren) and Raven Green and also 4 grandchildren. Edgar was loved by all who knew him. Memorial Services to Celebrate Mr. Green’s life will be held at 5:00 PM Friday Dec. 2 at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services in Mt. Holly, NC with Rev. Eric Lively officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in his honor to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Dr., Shelby, NC 28015.
