Doris Michaels

Doris Michaels, 75, of Gastonia went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 27, 2022 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.  She was born on December 26, 1946 to the late Clarence and Ruth Haney McCarn.  Doris was a member of Love Memorial Baptist Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all.

Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Harvey Michaels III.; sons, Samuel Michaels (Tracy) and Thomas Anthony Michaels (Melinda); sisters, Brenda Warren (Jimmy) and Rosalyn McCarn (Bobby); brother in law and sister in law, Bruce and Barbara Michaels; sister in law and brother in law, Joetta and M.C. Huffstetler; grandchildren, Kendall Brooks (Tyler), Kyler Beane (Amanda), Carrigan Michaels, and Caroline Michaels; great grandchildren, Josie Beane, Langston Beane, and Mollie Brooks; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Michelle Parker and son, Scott.

A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Love Memorial Baptist Church, 311 E. Walnut Ave., Gastonia, NC 28054 with Rev. Mike Criswell and Dr. Bob Bodenhamer officiating.  Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
