Doris Ann Johnson

Doris Ann Dunn Johnson, 90, of Gastonia passed away August 7, 2020 at Peak Resources Pinelake in Carthage, NC.  She was born on May 13, 1930 to the late Walter and Ellen Dunn.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, John Clayton Johnson Sr.; siblings, Otis Dunn, Evelyn Dunn Miller, Clay Dunn, Joe Dunn, Betty Dunn Smith, Paul Dunn, and Dowd Marshal Dunn.  Doris was a previous member of First Baptist Church in Mount Holly.  She enjoyed the beach, cooking, plants and flowers, reading; especially her Bible, and she loved to decorate on her favorite holiday, Christmas.

Survivors include her children, Mike Johnson, John Johnson Jr., Chris Johnson,Mark Johnson and wife Heather, Marvin Johnson, and Cynthia Wilson and husband Mark; 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Holly Cemetery
