Donald Joseph Kane

Donald Joseph Kane, age 81 of Mt. Holly and originally from Brooklyn, NY, passed away Thursday May 4, 2023.  He was born April 8, 1942 to the late Walter Joseph and Olga Fomko Kane and was also preceded by his wife Reidun Nordskog Kane after 13 short beautiful years of marriage. She was the love of his life. Mr. Kane was a US Army Veteran where he was Staff SGT E-6 with the 82nd Airbourne. Former Director of Operations at Bank One, Ohio, Former Regional Director of Operations at Kidder, Peabody & Co. Studied Business Accounting/Regulatory Standards at NY Institute of Finance, New York. Donald was a NY Yankee's fan but followed the Atlanta Braves and became an avid fan. Baseball was his true love but was a fan of all sports. He coached and mentored boys of all ages in various sports. Donald is survived by sisters, Debora Kane Michel and Barbara Kane O'Friel and special friends, who were his angels on earth, Marianne Provenzola and Dave Gardner. Services will be Private.
