Donald Edward Drake

Donald Edward Drake, 64, of Mt. Holly passed away January 27, 2023 at CaroMont Regional Hospital in Gastonia. Mr. Drake was born August 24,1958 in Gaston County to the late Donald W. Drake and Carol Miller Drake. Donald enjoyed fall bonfires, loved singing, going to the beaches and the mountains. He also had a love for planting flowers, trees and bushes, but he mostly cherished his family and friends.

Survivors include his sisters, Terri Hance and husband Paul, Lisa Braswell, and Jodie Winemiller and husband Chris; his beloved fur Baby, Saphira; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Family Gathering will be held Saturday Feb. 4, 2023 beginning at noon at the home of Terri and Paul Hance’s home.
