Dianne Cook

Dianne Bradshaw Cook, age 68, of Belmont passed away on August 20, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Cook was born in Lincoln County on August 11, 1949 to the late Fred Winston Bradshaw and Martha Louise Mauney Bradshaw. Dianne was a homemaker and longtime member of South Point Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Stanley High School and loved the beach. She enjoyed all types of crafts and was a member of the Lucille Tatum Home Extension Club in Gastonia.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years Mike Cook; Children, Michelle Lynn “Shelley” Abernathy (Bryon), Susan Deanne Williams (Steve) and Michael “Mickey” Cook; 5 Grandchildren, Tanner, Audrey, Anna Nichole, Hunter and Gavin;  3 sisters, Martha Jean Smith, Brenda Helms and Helena Smith and also a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services to Celebrate Dianne’s Life will be held at 3:00 PM Friday August 25 at South Point Baptist Church in Belmont with Reverend Mike Phillips officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Inurnment Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to South Point Baptist Church Building Fund, 124 Horsley Ave. Belmont, NC 28012.
