Danny Williams, age 73, of Mount Holly, North Carolina, was born in Gaston County on August 8, 1951, to the late Woodrow and Ruby Gibson Williams. He passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Belmont, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
A devoted husband for 45 years, Danny is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie Williams. His children, Danny Williams, Jr., Jimmy Williams, Edward Williams, and Timothy "Bo" Williams, along with Bo's wife, Miranda, carry forward his spirit. He was especially proud of his grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler, and Ashlyn, who were a source of great joy in his life.
Danny's family ties extended to his sister, Kay Tallent, and her late husband, Lee. He is also remembered fondly by his six nieces and nephews: Kim, Tammy, Andy, Jay, Sammy, and Michael. They all shared in the warmth and laughter that Danny brought into their lives.
Danny’s passions included fishing, where he found peace and contentment in nature. He was a dedicated fan of NASCAR racing, particularly admiring the legendary Dale Earnhardt, Sr. Additionally, Danny found joy in woodworking, where he showcased his creativity and craftsmanship.
Preceding him in death are his parents, along with his brother, Robert Williams, and sisters, Carolyn Dover and Bootsie Smith. Their memories remain close to those who loved him, as they are forever bonded by the ties of family.
A graveside service to honor Danny's life will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly, North Carolina. Friends and family are invited to attend, reflecting on the life of a man who was loved deeply and will be missed immensely.
