Daisy Lindenthaler Haynes, born on March 18, 1928 in Carlstadt, New Jersey to the late Francis and Doris Lindenthaler, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026, at her residence in Gastonia, North Carolina.

Throughout her life, Daisy exemplified kindness and service. She was a dedicated volunteer with the Salvation Army, committing her time and energies to help others in need. Her love for baking brought joy to those around her, and she often shared her delightful creations with family and friends. Daisy also had a passion for travel; she embraced the adventure of exploring new destinations and relished her experiences on various cruises.

Daisy was a proud mother to six children: Sheila Haynes, Diana Bates (Wayne), Jeannette Haynes, Pauline Pressley, David Haynes (JoAnne), and Harold Haynes (Kathy). The legacy of love she created continues through her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, who will cherish her memory forever.

As one of 11 siblings, Daisy was deeply embedded in the fabric of a large family. She is survived by one living sister, Mary Lee Hoffman. Daisy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Haynes, as well as her great granddaughter, Piper Haynes, and grandson, Skyler Ramsey.

Daisy Lindenthaler Haynes lived a life rich in love, service, and family connections. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to inspire those she has left behind.
