Chester "Junior" Strange, 71, passed away March 30, 2017 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas. He was born in Bessemer City on October 17, 1945 to the late Kile and Arngel Bowen Strange. He was preceded in death by Brothers, Dean Strange and Wayne Strange, and Sister, Ann Strange.
Junior was a horse trainer in the rodeo industry. He was also an auto mechanic. He loved to travel all over the United States, especially the mountains and visiting Indian Reservations. Junior also enjoyed fishing and loved wolves.
He is survived by his children, Kelli Love and husband Marshall, Teresa Barrett and husband Michael, Kathy Strange, William Strange, Jason Stokley Strange and wife Tiffany, and Mark Chitwood Jolly; Sister, Kathy Prince; Brother, Hubert Strange and wife Mary; and 12 Grandchildren.
Services to celebrate Junior's life will be held at a later date by the family.
