Charlie "Charles" Amzy Christenbury

Charlie "Charles" Amzy Christenbury Jr., 75, of Charlotte, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Mecklenburg County, the son of the late Charlie Amzy Christenbury, Sr. and Hazel Deal Christenbury. Charles is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth "Paulette" Christenbury; sons, Charles "Clayton" and Vanessa, Ronald "Ronnie" and Gloria, Lonnie and Tracy, Richard "Ricky" and Tracy, Rodger and Jennifer, two sisters, one brother, twenty-six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Huntersville Church of God, 401 Huntersville-Concord Rd., Huntersville, NC 28078 on Thursday, October 18, 2018, from 6:00-7:00 P.M. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 P.M with Bishop Matthew Lewis and Bishop Walter Burgess officiating.

The family has requested that flowers be delivered to the Church.
