Carolyn Ann "Grammy" Robinson

February 15, 1950 — December 25, 2021

Carolyn Ann "Grammy" Robinson, 71, of Bessemer City passed away December 25, 2021 at her residence. She was born on February 15, 1950 to the late Doytt Eugene Falls and Toise "Nell" Costner Falls. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Mike Robinson; son, Ritchie Robinson; and sisters, Evonne Greene and Sandra Watts. Carolyn was a previous member of First Wesleyan Church in Bessemer City. She graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She then became a teacher for Gaston County School System where she taught at Clay Street Elementary and Arlington Elementary. She later retired from Gaston County Schools and enjoyed traveling. Carolyn was a creative person, enjoyed cake decorating, and crafts. She also enjoyed visiting the beach and the mountains.

Survivors include her daughter, Holly Branch and husband Matthew; siblings, Kevin Falls and wife Donna, Susie McDonald and husband Bobby, and Jeff Falls and wife Kathy; grandchildren, Nevaeh, Rylie, Preston, and Coleman.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Westview Gardens Cemetery in Bessemer City with Revs. Scott Whitener and Sherman Branch officiating.
