Carolyn Martha Owen

Carolyn Martha Cook Owen, 82, of Mt. Holly, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte. Mrs. Owen was born in York County, SC on July 22, 1940 to the late Howard and Fannie Brakefield Cook. Carolyn was a wonderful woman who loved her family, especially all of her grandchildren. She loved cooking, the mountains, and the beach. She worked in textiles most of her life and retired from Ithaca Textiles.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Robert Owen; Children, Melissa Armstrong and husband Robbie, Delta Dawn Evans, Jeffery Scott Evans and Thomas Joe Evans; Sister, Margie Martin; brothers, Don and Dub Cook; 11 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren;  along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Privately by the family at a later date.
