Carol Fay West

Carol Fay West, 60, of Gastonia passed away on June 11, 2018 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.  She was born on May 30, 1958 to the late Marion and Pearline Mathis Ward.  Carol loved her family, her grandchildren, and her pet dogs, Angel, Brownie, and MawMaw.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy West; son, Marcus Smith and wife Devon; sisters, Jan Current and husband Larry and Khristie Haniff; brothers, Darrell Ward and partner David and Dean Ward and wife Gwen; grandchildren, Jamie, Ryder, and Lanie; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service to celebrate Carol's life will be held Friday, June 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral Services, Mt. Holly.  Visitation will be held after the service.
