Carol Jane Brafford

Carol Drake Brafford, 80, of Mt. Holly passed away August 7, 2018 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.  She was born on March 13, 1938 to the late James and Lula Adams Miller.  Carol was the widow of George Bradford and was also preceded in death by her former husband and father of her children, Donald Drake; sisters, Nellie Robertson, Inez Adams, Rosie Buffin; and brothers, Ben Miller and Tommy Miller  She enjoyed collecting dolls and elephants, visits to the beach and mountains, her dog, Dusty but she especially loved her family.

Carol is survived by her children, Eddie Drake, Terri Hance and husband Paul, Lisa Braswell and husband Scott, Jodie Winemiller and husband Chris, and George Bradford Jr. and wife Heather; 9 grandchildren, Matthew, Cody, Hannah, Donovan, Austin, Jonathon "Pookie," Jasper, Addilynn, and Brady; 6 great grandchildren, Jaylynn, Mac, Callahan, Barett, Hayden, and Anna Marie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2018  at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mt. Holly.  Inurnment will be private.
