Brenda Gantt Martin

Brenda Gantt Martin, 84, of Mt. Holly and formerly of Gastonia, NC, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 13, 2026. She was born on August 30, 1942, in Gastonia, NC to the late Otto and Connie Hoffman Gantt.

Brenda married Floyd Martin on December 29, 1963.

Brenda loved her grandchildren, her life revolved around her children and grandchildren. She loved all her pets and was an animal lover.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Carlton Martin; sister, Margie Benoy; father, Otto Gantt; mother, Connie Gantt; and great-grandson, Caleb Hernandez.

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Donna Martin (Lee Lineberry) and Dede Martin Stowe (Mark); her son, Sean Martin; her grandchildren, Kaylin Walkowiak, Tommy Walkowiak, Brittany Poole (Jeremy), Haley Parker, Destanie Young (Devon Young) and Kaylee Stowe; great-grandchildren, Broderick Poole, Carlyn Poole, Logan Poole, Patrick Collins, Kareem Cooper and Deacon Young.

A private family service will be held.
