Betty J. Jessup

Betty J. Jessup, 83, of Gastonia passed away Saturday Sept. 19, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. Ms. Jessup was born March 2, 1932 in Gaston County to the late David and Grace Hagan Barber. She was a homemaker and longtime member of Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Junior "Joe" Jessup and daughter Beverly Ann Jessup and was a graduate of the NC School for the Deaf in Morganton, NC.

Ms. Jessup is survived by her son Randy Jessup and Fiance' Kathy Benton. Aunt Dot Barber and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday Sept. 21 at 1:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Ron Monteith officiating. Interment will follow in Gaston Memorial Park. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.
