Betty Lou Hester

Betty Lou Hester, 70, of Gastonia, passed away on May 2, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Healthcare. She was born in Gaston County on March 27, 1950, the daughter of the late Harvey Hamrick and Maude Mathis Hamrick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Roy Dean Hester. Betty was a loving mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were her whole world.

Betty is survived by her husband of 55 years, Roy B. Hester; son, Michael Lee Hester; daughter & son-in-law, Tabitha Hester Slack and Ray; brother, Leonard Hamrick; sister-in-law & best friend, Christine Hester; grandchildren, Dean, Felicia, Corey, Justin, and Courtney; great grandchildren, Grace, John, Vevette, Whittney, Mason, Jaiden, Emily, and Wyatt.
