Amy Hawkins Jones, age 51, of Gastonia, passed away May 2, 2018, surrounded by her family secure in the promise of an eternal life through Jesus Christ.  She was a faithful woman of God who loved reading her Bible and spending time with her family.  She also enjoyed taking trips to the mountains, crafting, and thrifting.  She was an avid fan of the I Love Lucy and the Andy Griffith show.  She had a caring heart, always strived to make people feel loved and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
