Aaron Edward Hinson III, 29, passed away May 21, 2017. Aaron was born in Gastonia, N.C. on Nov. 3, 1987 to Nickie M. Hinson and Ronnie E. Hinson, II.
Aaron is survived by his parents; his fiancée Samantha Cooley and her daughter Nova; his grandmother Lillie Greene; aunts, Lynn M. Crowe and her husband Earl, Teresa Lucas, Rebecca Moore, Lisa Stroupe and her husband Chris and uncle, Steve Hinson and his wife Samantha; his cousins Sommer, Brandon and Amy Marshall; Scott and Jeff Davis; Nick, Jeremy and Brent Stroupe, Glenn, Kyle, Sean and Miranda Lucas; Brad and Josh Hinson; and Emily Paysour. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. Ronnie E. Hinson, Jim and Helen Moore; his aunt Ronda Wilson, and cousin Brooke Paysoura.
Aaron spent most of his life in Gastonia and worked in management in the restaurant industry. Aaron was a dedicated employee, trustworthy, respected and the glue that united his work team, friends and family in integrity and perseverance. An avid golfer and Carolina Panthers fan, Aaron enjoyed gathering his friends together for any occasion.
He was a gifted listener and quietly performed random acts of kindness throughout his life for family, friends and strangers. He had a ready smile for all. Aaron will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
A celebration of his life is scheduled Saturday, May 27 at Bethlehem Church at 3100 Bethlehem Church Street, Gastonia, N.C with Pastor Dickie Spargo officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m. Food and fellowship will follow at Olie Restaurant located at 245 Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, N.C.
