Joseph "Joe" Chute

Joseph "Joe" James Chute, 62, of Charlotte, passed away March 4, 2021 at his residence.  He was born on July 19, 1958 to the late Larry and Leta Moore Chute.  Joe loved his country and served 15 years in the U.S. Navy.  He was an avid collector of swords, watches, shoes, luggage, and suits.  He was a big jokester and comedian.  He was devoted to his family.  Joe was also an author.  He enjoyed going antique shopping and traveling abroad to Greece and Italy.

Survivors include his fiance, Linda Bohm; children, Cayleigh Bohm and Lynnette Moore and her children; Brother in law, Richard Ayer; best friend, Stacy Moore; special friend, David McGeorge; and his fur babies, Max and Bluebell.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mt. Holly.
