Carolyn Auten

Carolyn Marie Auten, 66, of Mt. Holly passed away January 3, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.  She was born on December 7, 1954 to the late Clarence and Sybil Cagle.  She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Auten; and son, Shannon Auten.  Carolyn was a loving and caring wife and mother.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, James "BoBo" Auten; son, James Auten, Jr.; brothers, Chris Cagle, Robbie Cagle, and Steve Cagle; sister, Teresa Gondek; her pet dog Choco; and her nurses aide who took great care of her, Susan Oxford.

Services are being held privately.
